Happy Halloween! This year my costume has been inspired by granny B, Phillis the Riveter! I even made and wore a Boeing name tag that said Phillis on it. In remembrance of Granny, and the history she made for all women around the world.

Great costume! You look "quite the beauty" that Grannie was when she was "Rosie the Riveter" at your age. Jess,did you know that Grannie B told me that she and her friends used to call themselves the "Boeing Bags", and that Grandpa B. used to hang out at the gate and wait for Grannie to get off work? Grannie said that he did that just so he could look at at ALL the girls. Grandpa confessed that while he was stationed at the armory in Seattle there were quite a few women working at Boeing, as many, many men were off at war, and he did get quite a bit of attention!! Scandalous!!
