Actually it's a grandmother in Greece, they still use them to get around in. Why have a car when you can have your own personal grass mower, plant fertilizer and transport system all in one small package.

I did the math. Chickens etc.. are expensive, mules too I'm sure. I would like to figure out how to get to town without gas, but I'd have to build a barn and muck it out, buy some hay, and stay all night in a Taos hotel on my shopping trips. It just doesn't work.Darn
