On Mother's Day the trees were down at the Peter's Property at Bayview, Washington, but there was much to do to ready a building site for the new garage and future house! Not to worry. Over twenty family members (plus Friendly Fred, the Skagit County Fire Marshal) gathered to cut up the trees into firewood, drag and stack the limbs, and burn the brush, and make certain that a burning permit was purchased.

Bridgman Family Mother's Day

Finally some pictures, looks like fun, does the head supervisor of operations need an assistant? I wish I could have been there!
There is quite a bit of competition for that position, however "Grandpa rules."
Well, the survey is done and Puget Power has sent an engineer out to assess the powerline situation. We need a few more feet, Glen. I don't know how many we could gain. I feel that if the line needs to be moved they should do it and not charge us but.....Of course here we are waiting again. It is no wonder one turns to making beauty bark.....
