The yellow field in the background is a field of daffodils.
On the way to the Wade's last night at about 8:00 p.m. Glen and I passed the tulip fields. It is Tulip Festival Time all month and tourists in busses and cars clog the roads during the daytime. The sun was out, and it looked like spring. In fact last week-end it was near 75 degrees. Last night, however, as we were driving home from the Wade's house at about 10:30 p.m. it was snowing huge white feathery flakes!! Although the snow was not sticking to the road, the flakes were so many and so big that we could not even see the centerline and had to drive about 10 miles per hour, white knuckled most of the way home!! Today it has "topped out" at 39 degrees and has snowed most of the morning. I guess I won't be planting the garden today! Oh well.

Beautiful flowers. I wouldn't believe the snow part, but I'm hearing the same report on the national news. No flowers here, but it is so nice to see the bare ground after 4 months of snow cover. Maybe the tulip display will last a little longer because of the cold temperatures. I'll be there Tuesday....hope to catch the sight.
ahh beautiful! I wish I could be home around those times to see those other than having to work there. Nice pictures! they should be put into frames! Artist candy!

...for anyone related to the Bridgmans of Bow? I have relatives that are related, does that count?
Lovely pictures. Wish it was that pretty here, but I guess you pay for the beauty by tolerating the cold weather!
Love to see all the pictures!
Jenny, we plan to go to Red River in Sept, will have to look you up!
Jeanie (Tim's sister)
Hi Jeanie,
You are getting close. Let me know the dates. Look for Tres Piedras on the map. It's right across the Rio Grande Gorge. I am working out the details to go to Greece in Sept.,maybe for Baby Nik's next surgery. I think I will leave from Seattle. That gives me another visit with my family, saves a little $ and I have plans to build a garage at the Bayview Property. We plan to finish up our projects here and list this property this summer. September is looking like a busy month. Keep me posted. I'm not sure how things will work out,but I might need a few people to hold my hand if I have to move again.
Jenny, we will be in Red River around the 18th of Sept. Joe and Joyce are going next week. They are staying at the Cooper Key.
Mike's parents are going with us, but it would be nice to meet you for dinner, but it sounds like you might be too busy.
I know Mara would love for you to go and see her.
Happy Travels!
